Type G: means a tank vessel intended for the carriage of gases. Carriage may be under pressure or under refrigeration.Type C: means a tank vessel intended for the carriage of liquids. The vessel shall be of the flush-deck/double-hull type with double­hull spaces, double bottoms, but without trunk. Type G : un bateau- citerne destiné au transport de gaz sous pression ou à l'état réfrigéré ; Type C : un bateau- citerne destiné au transport de liquides. Le bateau doit être construit avec un pont plat et une coque en enveloppe double, c'est- à- dire à double- muraille et double- fond et sans trunk.
